2.3 Dreams

Dreams are figments of what you have seen or experienced. Most of the time, it is coupled with randomness and fantasy. Is it possible to dream language? I do think so. I sometimes dream, that I’m capable of doing things, I can’t do in real life. This includes speaking a foreign language. This dream shows me that I’m able to communicate with people in other languages. However, whenever I wake up, it all seems like gibberish. My definition of language is, that it is a way of communicating with other persons. This is what I did in my dreams, thus, I would say that it is possible to dream language.

As I said earlier, Dreams are figments of what you have seen or experienced. If a blind person has never seen during his life, he can’t dream images. However, his or her other senses are enhanced in their dreams. In other words, they can smell, hear, feel and taste in dreams. Just like blind people, deaf people experiences dreams with senses, except for their handicap.
